How it works

AP flags an incoming invoice · the payment is drafted with amount, vendor, purpose
Policy-required approvers (per amount tier · per department · per vendor risk profile) receive signed authorization requests
Each approver signs with biometric-attested identity · the chain accumulates authority + policy + evidence + preconditions
Payment executes only when threshold is met · the signed authority chain travels with the payment for downstream verification
Evidence

- Every payment ships with cryptographic proof of who approved it · no phone-call reconstruction
- Invoice fraud pattern: adversary changes the recipient bank at the last moment · H33 binds the signature to the recipient at approval time
- Replay reconstructs the exact conditions · if a payment is challenged years later, the receipt answers cryptographically
- Edge case: Emergency payment outside policy: possible with executive override, but the override itself is a signed receipt · full accountability
